It was a stressful sit down experience.
Mostly take out and no clients sitting except us.
All we heard throughout our dinner was yelling in the kitchen, yelling between people working out front and the rare people who came in after us left unhappy due to not being allowed to sit their 9 people party together. Huge yelling as they left and after between staff members.

I felt rushed the whole time there.

Will never go back.

Peking Duck: Great service even though it was a pick up. I was early to pickup but the Peking duck was ready earlier than the official pickup time.

The service was very friendly as always.
The duck was delicious. Both of us loved how light it was and yet how tasty.
This is definitely one restaurant that is doing a great job.

The take-out order was prepared quickly and accurately. The chop suey won ton soup was quite good and the spring rolls were very excellent. The main dish, lo mein Pekin, was less so consisting mostly of soppy long noodles with meat, shrimp and a small amount of bean sprouts. I have had it in the restaurant and it was better there with the noodles less spongy and more bean sprouts. Some dishes do not travel well when in a covered container. I shall keep that in mind when I order.

The restaurant was incredibly busy on NY Eve when our group experienced a friends dinner. The food was wonderful, and the ambience was infectious busy, but we were disappointed that all our meals did not come to table promptly. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for the fried rice, and we wondered if the restaurant had ordered the rice from Asia. It would also have been better if the employees spoke French. We had a communication problem.

Whenever I visit Montreal, I make it a point of eating here. The lunch special of $15 is very tasty and such a good deal.

Très bien. Malgré que je croyais avoir commandé un rouleau impérieal j’ai reçu un eggroll. Les dumoling végés sont excellents.
